Our products and services are not booked until a non refundable 25% deposit has been received. The full balance is due between 4-8 weeks prior to your event. You will be notified of when payments for your event are due. Each event is different and requires different payment dates.
By accepting this booking form you are happy for us to charge you if any items hired are damaged by yourself or your party guests.
Booking Form Information

Hire charges are calculated based on ‘one day’ events, beginning at 7am on the day of the event and ending at 7am on the day following the event. Extra time may be arranged but will be added to your invoice or deducted from your security deposit where appropriate. Should you wish for a longer hire period please get in touch to discuss extended rates. Should your venue require a collection out of hours (after 10 o’clock) we will charge for the out of hour collection.
We require clear access to required area of decoration and space to set this up. This includes from where we park our van to where your decoration is required to be installed. With clear and near access to power points, should your hire item require it.
Responsibility and acceptance of conditions
All items supplied to you on a hire basis remain the sole property of Sugar Rush Events and styling At 47 Enfield Road Poole Dorset BH15 3LJ. During the hire period (see 2) all hire items are the responsibility of the hirer (you) and not the responsibility of your venue or event planner. As the customer, you undertake not to sell, offer to sell, assign, charge, pledge or underlet, lend or otherwise deal with the products unless otherwise agreed with Sugar Rush Event and Styling.
We ask that you communicate with your venue to ensure the security of all hire items in your absence. Sugar Rush Event Hire provides all items for hire in good working order and these items must be returned in the same condition that which they were supplied. As much as we try to eliminate marks from our hire products, due to the items not being new, there maybe times where the items are marked. Being a hire product, there may be slight scratches or marks due to wear and tear over time. We therefore, request that hired items are not moved by anyone, venue included or by guests. Due to health and safety reasons, some items may be large and if played with or moved can cause injury if an accident were to happen.
4. Public Liability Insurance
We are fully insured up to £5 million public liability and also food safety certified and registered with the local council. We can provide a copy of our insurance policy certificate to you or your venue, please email us for more information on why you might need this.
5. Silk Flower Walls / LOVE Letters
The hire price of our silk flower walls and Light up LOVE letters includes full set up and breakdown. Due to the structure of our flower walls we respectfully ask that they are not moved or taken down by anybody other than an employee of Sugar Rush Event Hire to avoid damage. We pride ourselves on providing luxury products, therefore any silk flowers missing from the wall or any other arrangements will be treated as a loss/theft and will be deducted from the damage deposit (see 8). All 4ft Light up LOVE Letters are fully PAT Tested, a copy of the certificate for your venue can be obtained should they wish.
In the event of a cancellation your deposit is non-refundable and will therefore be retained. Should you need to change the date of your event we will endeavor to provide the items you require for your new date, however we cannot be held responsible if the new date is not available and the deposit is retained. We recommend that you purchase wedding/event insurance to cover any losses in the event of cancellation. Amendments or changes to order are allowed, if we can provide the change and these changes need to be communicated to Sugar Rush Events and Styling via email in good time before the event

8. Security/Damages Deposit
All bookings are subject to a damages deposit up to the value of 30% of the total bill which is due one week before the date of your event. This will be refunded in full within 5 working days after your event minus any charges for damage, vandalism, missing items, and/or additional hire time other than that which has been previously agreed. If the amount exceeds the value of the damages deposit a supplementary invoice will be issued for immediate payment. Should you wish to receive a full breakdown of replacement charges before you make your booking please contact us.
Sugar Rush Event Hire reserves the right to use any photography of our products and services taken during the hire period. Any photography will be used for promotional purposes on our website and/or social media. If you have any objections to this please let us know in writing prior to your event.
All requirements must be notified to Sugar Rush Events & Styling to ensure that set ups are safely installed to required areas. This includes outside set ups, sometimes the weather is very changeable on the day and therefore we have the right to make the decision with regards to safety of all our hire items, to be changed on the day.
We cannot accept responsibility to any of our items that are used outside should they be damaged, soiled or affected by bad weather conditions after we have left them set up.
Cancellation due to bad adverse weather conditions
In adverse weather conditions such as snow and ice, it is Sugar Rush Events decision not to deliver/set up hired items to the venue if it jeopardizes the safety of our staff or items being hired. Please do check your terms and conditions with your venue regarding setup and collection times prior to accepting out T’s and C’s/booking.
